Okie Stitch Along - Deadline Extended!

The Okie Stitch Along deadline has been extended to September 1!

Join the handmade revolution, by honoring your favorite Oklahoman with an embroidered portrait! Anyone is welcome to join our virtual group, regardless of skill level.

The group will create a collection of portraits of famous Oklahomans for an Oklahoma City exhibition in late Summer and Fall 2010. Spend the winter and spring months patiently creating your work of art for this low-pressure, accessible show.  All sizes of work are acceptable, and works may be stitched on any type of fabric.

Stitch Along Artist Registration

All artists need to submit an online form. Please complete the form at the same time you mail your piece.

If you're not an Oklahoma resident, it's OK! Just choose an Oklahoman to embroider and be prepared to mail the mounted piece to us by September 1

Mailing address:
Deluxe OK LLC
PO Box 57853
Oklahoma City, OK 73157

Three public exhibitions are currently scheduled, including the Oklahoma State Fair in September.

There is no entry fee, however, you will need to pay for return postage after the exhibition ends if your piece does not sell. More logistics for sales will be announced in the spring, and participants will have the option to mark their piece "Not For Sale" and have it returned.
